# Public ranking documentation.

Use SignalTally’s public HTML domain reports, Markdown assessments and JSON ranking endpoint.

These interfaces expose the free ranking explorer. Commercial intent-signal delivery is discussed separately with sales.

## Website reports

Use signaltally.com/DOMAIN for a permanent report, such as gymshark.com. Rankings, assessments and the full alphabetical country table are included in the initial HTML.

## Markdown assessments

Append /assessment.md to a domain report for a text version with ranking dates and all observed territories. Each country retains its latest observation date.

## JSON history

GET /api.php?domains=DOMAIN returns daily series as [date, rank] pairs. geography[DOMAIN].locations contains monthly [date, popularity] pairs for GLOBAL and two-letter country codes. A monthly value of 10000 means Top 10K, not exact position #10,000.

## Daily and monthly popularity

reports[].primaryRanking identifies the displayed source, value, date and selection reason. Available daily history remains separate. Monthly coverage supports websites with missing, sparse or near-boundary daily data.

## Explore the world

All time shows every observed territory using its latest available popularity. Choose a month or Play history to explore individual snapshots. The country table stays alphabetical in both views; all-time rows show Last observed and monthly rows compare the previous month. Download CSV for the complete monthly history.

## Availability

sources reports source availability; geography[DOMAIN].cacheStale marks a cached monthly result during a refresh failure. One source can remain available if the other fails. Invalid input returns 400, restricted reports 403, unsupported methods 405, busy requests 429 and temporary failures 503.

## Data and attribution

SignalTally combines its intelligence with open sources. Cite the domain report and the actual observation date. Country popularity is relative within each country; it is not a share of worldwide traffic.

Append /overview.md to a main site page for its Markdown representation. Use /overview.md for the homepage. HTML pages remain canonical.
