Carry the source with the event
An agent should be able to identify what changed and where that conclusion came from. Preserve source references and observation timing when moving information between research, qualification and response steps.
Keep interpretation separate
A subscription app addition may make retention services relevant, but it does not prove dissatisfaction with an existing provider. Keep the observed merchant change separate from its possible meaning throughout the workflow.
Make repetition safe
A design for automated processing should account for repeated observations, old events and interrupted delivery. Discuss event identity, timestamps, replay behavior and destination requirements during a technical evaluation. This guide is a workflow design framework, not documentation of a public SignalTally signal endpoint.
Start with a reviewable action
Research summaries, internal notes and draft messages are useful starting points. Decide which actions need human review before connecting an agent to outreach or account changes. A timely signal should improve a decision, not bypass it.
